FTTH Project Manager

FTTH Project Manager Location: Essex Start date: Monday 25th January or ASAP Job Type: Permanent Salary: £45-£50k Allied Resource are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with experience working on Fibre to the Home (FTTH) projects in the UK. Successful candidates will be responsible for the successful delivery of a major project within the set milestones. You will work closely with the technical management team to ensure the project is delivered and KPI’s including time, cost and quality are all achieved. Responsibilities: - Report into senior management with project updates on a regular basis. - Successfully track the project delivery against key performance metrics. - Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, use a thorough management process covering risk mitigation and forecasting. - Manage the delivery team to ensure works are scheduled correctly in line with project plans. - Monitor and mitigate against risks and issues on the project, have a strong recovery plan in place to minimise any effects. - Take responsibility for log and control changes and deviations to the delivery program. - Report into the customer on a weekly basis with project updates. Must Have: - Previous experience working on and managing FTTH projects. - Technical understanding of fibre optic networks. - Strong leadership / management skills. - Good commercial awareness. - Excellent customer facing skills, with the ability to present yourself and the company in a professional manner at all times. - Use of PPM system. Ericsson BTS Engineers x 2 Location: Midlands - South Start date: ASAP Job Type: Permanent Salary: £35-£40k DOE + vehicle + fuel card Allied Resource are currently recruiting for Ericsson BTS Engineers in and around the Midlands. The successful candidate will be competent in Huawei commissioning within the UK. Responsibilities: - - Installation & Commissioning of Ericsson BTS Equipment. - Various Testing of Antenna Feeder Systems: PIM Testing / VSWR / Noise Floor measurement - Test calling on Ericsson Base Stations. Maintaining, troubleshooting, and fixing pre-installed equipment. - Keeping a records/reports of all work carried out for HOP’s - Following the workflow processes and keeping the back office up to date along with using them for support where required. - Make sure the services are active by testing the circuits, equipment, and alarms. You will need to identify any problems, correcting where possible or report back to escalate the issue. - Maintenance of the network troubleshooting and repairing outages. - Making sure you keep your stock of supplied ready for all works. - Maintain a safe working environment following all regulations, procedures, codes and standard working on the telecoms network. Must Have: - - Understanding of the Mobile Telecoms Network - Ericsson commissioning experience - Clean Driving License - Good computer and MS Office knowledge. This role would be working on a Permanent basis for a Telecommunications company based in Glasgow. The successful candidate must have good technical understanding and knowledge of PCN Rigging within the Mobile Comms industry. Responsibilities: Deliver/manage the rigging of new sites and existing sites for the mobile network Be the point of contact for any rigging technical issues. Work collectively with other managers within the business to make sure the full builds are delivered. Senior Cisco Network Analyst Location: Glasgow Start date: ASAP Job Type: Permanent Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Per Annum plus Bonus Allied Resource are currently recruiting for a CCIE Network Analyst, to work for a fantastic company on a permanent basis in Scotland. The successful candidate will join a well-established team working in the companies 24-hour service centre. You will be responsible for providing solutions on various complex and critical network troubleshooting issues. Responsibilities: - Regularly update customers with progress reports and issue resolutions. - 3rd line support for network infrastructure - Receive and manage customer tickets on the service management database. - Implement, review and advise on network designs / solutions. - Provide route cause analysis - Collaborate effectively with customers, field engineers and network management teams, to ensure that SLA’s are met. Must Have: - Strong network engineering background. - CCIE Data Centre or CCIE Routing and Switching accreditations. - Ability to obtain SC Clearance. - Previous experience working in a NOC or operations centre. - Experience working with Cisco Prime.
