Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Start date: ASAP
Day Rate: 157.50 GBP per day
Contract length: End of June

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for Data Engineers to work on a 3-month Data Cabling project located in Birmingham. Successful candidates will be completing various Data engineering / Networking duties to install structured cabling systems within a new Data Centre build. Most tasks are working on a scissor lift so an in date IPAF licence is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Installation of CAT6 cabling systems.
- Termination of structured cabling systems mainly CAT 6
- Ensuring all health and safety protocols are always followed.
- Read from schematic drawings.
- Running in Fibre cables when necessary.
- Fault fixing and finding on cabling systems.

Must Have:
- Strong cat6 installation experience
- In date IPAF licence (Essential)
- Strong communications and organisation skills
- All hand tools including battery drills.
- In date ECS/CSCS card (Essential)
