Fibre Cabling Engineer

Contract Length: 3 – 5 Years
Rates: £140 - £225 per day (Price Work – Rate breakdown sent separately)
Additional: Van, Tools & Fuel provided, Training & Certification paid for

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for Fibre Cabling Engineers to work on a fantastic long-term contract in the East / South East of England. Working on behalf of Openreach, sites will be regionalised into “Patches” depending on your location, which will minimise travel. This will be a price work contract with extremely fluid work over the full term, engineers will have the ability to earn some great money on this project.

This is a rare opportunity to guarantee yourself constant work over a 3 – 5 year period in the fibre telecoms industry. Opportunities available for experienced fibre engineers and people looking to train in the industry (full training and certification provided), so please feel free to forward this on to anyone you know who could be interested.

Responsibilities:

- Completing fibre installations to customer premises working on the Openreach project.
- Working at heights and in the underground network
- Splicing fibre and testing at multiple points of the install.
- Ensure H&S policies are followed at all times.
Must Have:

- Fibre / FTTX / FTTP cabling experience (Training provided for people new to the industry).
- MT003 / SA001 / SA002 / SA051C / SA020 / NRSWA O1 / N22 / N27 (Certification provided for people new to the industry).
- Good customer facing skills
- Full UK Driving License held over 1 year with no more than 6 points
- Awareness of strict H&S policies.
