Fibre Engineer (Fault-Finding)
Location: South UK (Midlands – South Coast)

Salary: £190p/d + Vehicle + Fuel + Equipment

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for a Fibre Engineers with splicing experience to work for a fantastic Telecoms company based in Berkshire. The successful candidate will be required to work on various sites in the South of the UK, effectively diagnosing and rectifying residential and commercial network faults to client SLAs.

Responsibilities:

- Complete fibre network fault-finding for residential callouts on the CityFibre network, between the residence and the local cabinets.
- Complete fibre splicing and OTDR testing works on various residential and commercial calls.
- Quality check completed work to ensure that standards are high.
- Maintain the network to ensure that the completed build is to spec.
- Ensure labelling is correct and to a tidy standard.
- Ensure that SHEQ compliance and procedures are followed on site at all times.
- Report progress back into the management team.
- Ensure that weekly targets and SLAs are delivered.
- Report any major incidents back to the management team.

Must Have:

- Strong engineering, fault-finding and splicing experience working on PON builds.
- City Fibre experience (Desirable)
- Experience in fibre cable installation.
- SA001, SA002, N23 (Desirable)
- NRSWA or EUSR (Desirable)
