FTTx Civils Project Manager (OUTSIDE IR35)
Location: South Coast (Work from home 2 days per week)
Start date: April / May 2021
Job Type: Contract – 6 months rolling (2 year project)
Day Rate: £300 per day
Payment Terms: Weekly

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with Civils / Construction experience working on FTTx projects. Working on a large FTTH build rollout on the South Coast of England, this will be a 6-month rolling contract, but the build is expected to last at least 12 – 24 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Civils side of the project, ensuring completion is on time and within budget. This role will require 3 days based in the office / on site and 2 days working from home.


- Engagement and support with construction build partners
- Maintaining accurate records and producing relevant reports throughout the project life cycle – whilst always considering the appropriate Health and Safety measures
- Ensure risk issues dependencies are managed and escalated as required
- Prioritise and schedule all work activities for the successful delivery of contracted services in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner - within budget
- Ensuring build programmes progress to schedule
- Prioritise and schedule all work activities as required
- Responsible for the tracking of equipment, inventory and any other expenditure that could potentially impact the financial performance of the project
- Adhere to internal and external, regulatory, operational and Health and Safety compliance procedures

Must Have:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Service Delivery / Project Management environment
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the telecoms industry (FTTH delivery is desirable)
- Good understanding of NRSWA requirements and legislation
- Proven track record of delivery and a proactive approach to managing projects
