FTTX Surveyor/Planner
Location: Yorkshire (WFH Included)
Start date: ASAP
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: 35,000 – 40,000 Per Annum

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for a FTTX Surveyor/Planner with strong FTTX Surveying experience on the Openreach network to work for a fantastic company based in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will survey and plan FTTP installation routes. The company operates around Yorkshire delivering fixed line services. Responsibilities: -
- Produce desktop plans prior to attending site and identify the most suitable routes.
- Read design blueprints and construction maps designed by network owners to interpret the most suitable cabling solutions.
- Responsible for completing survey job packs and review proposed methods of construction to ensure that all requirements are compliant.
- Liaise with asset and landowners to rectify any issues preventing the project receiving approval to proceed.
- Involvement to identify re-routes are required as well as wayleaves and permits.
- Utilise various design software packages including Internal Box to Box Surveying Management System, Openreach PIA Portal, CAD, Power Point to create professional job packs proficiently.
- Identify underground civil works as well as overhead apparatus.
- Carry out surveys on ducts, chambers and OH plants to ascertain whether any obstructions will prevent a successful installation.

Must Have: -

- FTTP Surveying experience on the Openreach Network.
- Strong understanding of Openreach PIA.
- Customer service experience involving both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- S11, S13, A8/SA001, A9/SA002 & NRSWA (Desirable).
