Cabling Project Manager
Location: Mainly London / Home Counties
Start date: ASAP
Job Type: Long Term Contract or Permanent Employment
Salary: £55K - £65K + Vehicle
Contract Day Rate: £300 - £350 per day

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for an experience Project Manager with experience working on major cabling programs. Ideally candidates will have multi-discipline backgrounds of Data Cabling, Fire & Security, AV & Networks, although cabling is the most important at the moment and other areas can be cross trained.

Responsibilities:

Cost control - project P&L
Labour planning
Materials ordering & product knowledge
Programme management
Change management VO’s
Delay and disruption management
Working with a QS team
Produce your own labour loaded programmes using MS project or similar.
Understands and can demonstrate monthly drop line reporting against the programme.
Engaging with key project stakeholders, senior management and project directors.
Engage at site level with a diverse labour resource pool

Must Have:

- Experience working as a Project Manager on large scale structured cabling or physical security projects (Experience in both would be ideal)

- Must have delivered projects of 10,000 outlets and above (1 - 2m value) in a construction cat B fit out environment.

- Experience in some of the following: Structured Cabling (Excel, Leviton, Panduit, CommScope) / Security (Gallagher, Honeywell, IDIS, Axis, Motorola, Meraki) / Networks (Cisco, Rukus).

- Experience working on Data Centre projects and Cat A fit outs are also desirable.

- Must be willing to travel and potentially stay away when required.

- Must have a project portfolio with the ability to present your experience on interview stage.
