​Data Cabling Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for a Data Cabling Engineer to work for one of our clients on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to work on a diverse range of projects in various sectors. The role will involve working mainly in and around the M25 corridor, however companies Engineers tend to do 2-3 days per month working away.

Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive experience in the installation of Cat5e, 6, 6a and fibre cabling
- Experienced in setting up, using and understanding Fluke DSX8000/5000 results, or similar test equipment.
- Experience in surveying, with advanced IT/computer literacy to report on findings of surveys.
- The ability to read architectural drawings.
- The ability to prepare quantities from specifications and drawings.
- Experienced in setting up, using and understanding Fluke DSX8000/5000 results, or similar test equipment.
- Experienced in the safe and correct use of access equipment and power tools.

Must Have:
- Strong background in working with Structured Cabling systems.
- In date ECS/CSCS Card.
- No criminal record.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Willing to stay away 2-3 days per month.
