​EPOS Engineer

Salary: £30,000 per annum rising to £32,000 per annum after probation

Allied Resource are proud to be working with a UK leader in the provision of infrastructure services to the telecommunications and utilities sectors. Based in Scotland, our client now requires a customer-facing Project Engineer working closely with Project Managers and client representatives within their technical project team. The successful candidate will hold technical knowledge of various networking technologies and principles with experience of successful implementation of projects across varied delivery solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Field Maintenance/Installation engineer with Retail/QSR background.
- EPOS hardware/kiosk installations
- New store Infrastructure installation inc. comms cabinet/server installs.
- 1st/2nd fix data cabling.
- Basic software skills.
- Troubleshooting network/hardware issues.

Must Have:
- Strong experience as an EPOS Engineer.
- CSCS/ECS cardholder
- Able to travel/work away from home when required.
- Flexible working hours including overnight works where required.
- Weekend working on a rota basis.
- Able to use power tools (grinder/impact driver/SDS drills etc
- Able to work at height (stepladders and platforms)/confined spaces where required.
