​Optical Telecoms Engineer
Location: Scotland / Northern England
Start date: ASAP
Job Type: 2 Year Contract
Rates: £230 per day (within 2 hours of home) / £250 per day (Over 2 hours from home) / £300 per day (Weekends)
Overtime: Above rates include 8 hours on site, after 8 hours overtime is paid at £35 per hour (or £50 per hour weekends / OOH)

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for an Optical Telecommunications Engineer to work on a 2 year project, mainly covering Scotland and Northern England. The successful candidate will be completing router installation and patching tasks in Exchange environments.

Responsibilities:
- Installing Nokia 7750 Routers
- Completing other installs and patching tasks within the Exchange.

Must Have:
- Optical engineering experience, preferably in Exchange environments.
- Nokia 7750 installation experience.
- Valid UK driving licence.
