​Security Commissioning Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum + O/T + Call Out

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for a Senior Security Commissioning Engineer to work for a fantastic company in Central London. Main working areas will be central, so engineers based in inner-London would be ideal. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that excels in commercial security systems and is making a name for themselves both throughout the UK and Globally. Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring all system installations are commissioned on time and to company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Discuss the project commissioning requirements with engineers, clarify updates, identify problems, and develop solutions.
• In-depth testing and troubleshooting of all systems: access control, intruder alarms, intercoms, and CCTV, along with IP network systems.
• Programming physical security systems including access control, CCTV intruder alarms and other security integrations.
• System setup and programming on large installations and supporting Engineers when they are programming on minor installations.
• Benchtop programming of security equipment pre-installation.
• Completes project testing / commissioning sheets.
• Follow assigned projects to final adjustments, test, troubleshoot and rectify as part of the commissioning and signoff process.

Must Have:
- Strong experience in commissioning of Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms).
- Experience on integrating systems.
- Familiar with NSI Standards
- Full UK Driving License.
