​Installation Engineer
Location: North Scotland
Start date: ASAP
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum

Allied Resource are currently recruiting for an Installation Engineer with experience working in Data Centres / Switch sites for a permanent role in the North of Scotland. You will be working on various sites around Scotland completing Copper and Fibre cabling works.

Responsibilities:
- Cat 6/Cat 5 Network patching.
- Fibre patching (Eqpt to Eqpt or within ODF
- Labelling of all the above in accordance with Customer specific standards
- Fault finding (use of power meters, etc)
- Installation of equipment cabinets/Racks including server racks and Vendor specific equipment racks in both raised floor and non-raised floor environments.
- Installation of equipment within the racks.
- AC and DC power cabling (not including connecting to the power systems as this will be performed by an 18th Edition qualified Engineer

Must Have:
- Strong experience with Cat6 / Fibre Patching.
- Ability to Install equipment into Racks.
- UK Driving licence.
