Data Cabling team of 2 Location: Southwest area (Birmingham to Bristol & South Wales) Start date: £190 per shift + mileage + accommodation if required Job Type: Permanent Allied Resource are currently recruiting for Data Cabling teams of 2 to work on a long term roll out completing various Data Cabling tasks in supermarkets. The successful candidates will be part of a team of Engineers travelling around the Southwest on a long term project lasting until November 2022 with scope to tupe over onto other projects upon completion. Responsibilities: - Installation of Cat6 cables. - Termination of Cat6 Data Cables. - Testing Cat6 Data Cables. - General Data Cabling duties. - Must Have: - 2 years’+ experience working in the Data Cabling industry. - Strong experience in similar position or as a Lead Engineer. - IPAF Licence (Essential for one of the teams of 2). - In date ECS/CSCS card. - Smartphone to be able to use company app. - Be able to provide 2 professional references. - Good written and communications skills. Fibre Engineer / Surveyor Location: Bristol / Swindon Start date: ASAP Job Type: Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum DOE Allied Resource are currently on the lookout for an experienced individual for a Hybrid role covering various Fibre Engineering tasks as well as completing site surveys. Successful candidates will be responsible for completing detailed surveys and Fibre installations across the Southwest of England. Responsibilities: - Take an active role by walking the routes, overseeing and quality checking network plans by ensuring they are buildable and cost efficient. - Identify any defects on our network plans, flag and suggest alternative routes. - Survey contractor packs including the pre-planned fibre routes. - Complete As-Builts where necessary. - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, local authorities, and highways agencies effectively and clearly. - Be responsible for the governance of works management in compliance with and codes of practice and guidelines. - Compete various onsite Fibre Engineering tasks. - Forecast Operating Expenses and Capital Expenses for infrastructure projects. Must Have: - Experience in identifying defects and route survey activities. - Strong knowledge of Fibre Installations. - Excellent ability to solve problems in a timely manner. - Strong diversionary work experience, as well as codes of practice in this field. - Demonstrate ability to produce detailed industry-leading level of survey, installation, and as-built documents. Allied Resource are currently recruiting for an Acquisition Surveyor to work on behalf of a fantastic telecoms company based in the North West. You will be joining a team of Acquisition experts to ensure that objectives are being met for key stakeholders and customers. The successful candidate must have acquisition experience within the Mobile Telecommunications industry. Key Responsibilities: - Work along side other Surveyors & Coordinators to deliver acquisition objectives within the business. - Take responsibility the planning & delivery of acquisition related tasks within the business. - Take site instructions for Clients from inception to site completion. Instructions may include new search and acquisition, negotiating upgrades & assignments. - Negotiate property rights on new and existing agreements. - Prepare & submit reports on suitable sites for client consideration - Co-ordinate & attend Multi-site visits. Cabling / Containment Site Supervisor Location: County Durham Start date: ASAP Job Type: Permanent Allied Resource are currently recruiting for Lead Engineer / Supervisor to work on a site basis at a MOD site located in County Durham. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of Engineers who are completing various cabling tasks as well as Installing containment. The company operates on a UK wide basis so travelling to various sites will be required. The company also offers excellent career progression opportunities and benefits. Responsibilities: - Day to day supervision of Data Cabling Engineers (Cat6 tasks). - Day to day supervisor of Containment Installers. - Complete toolbox talks for Engineers each morning. - Weekly updates / reports to Site Project Manager. - Keep all site documentation up to date and report into the Site manager on a regular basis. - Dealing with the customer daily and managing expectations. - Ensure H&S is always adhered to. Must Have: - Proven experience of overseeing Engineers completing Data Cabling / Electrical tasks. - Strong experience in similar position or as a Lead Engineer. - Experience in working on MOD Projects (Desirable). - In date ECS/CSCS card. - Good written and communications skills.
